Rather than summarizing my email, would love to see a support based AI /app integration. Imagine a browser that could auto detect when content isn’t loading and tell you what settings in the app to modify to get things to render properly. Totally be down with that.

Spending the day archiving data off of a work laptop that belonged to a great person and good friend that died from cancer a few weeks back. It’s really fucking weird. He created all of this content, organized it across his desktop. It hasn’t been touched since he last touched it. Messed up feeling.

A big fan of hybrid working from work / life balance to attracting amazing talent. Read this recently, never thought about it so granularly but it makes sense.

Important metal box.

Stumbled onto this old metal box, crusty paint crumbling off. Not sure what it does but I feel like it’s very much there for a purpose and I’m ok with that.

Barrens (IT).

Feeling under the weather all week, decided to go for a walk with the camera to see if it would move the needle in either direction. On the walk, apparently stumbled into the Barrens and a doorway to IT.

Hamilton strap.

The handheld LED light was great to tease out all the different textures. Great watch strap, too.

Moody bridge.

Nothing more than a bit of light shining into the covered bridge at one of our local parks.

Gas line.

Was fiddling around replacing some parts to the propane powered fire table thingy, camera happened to be close by.

Winery fence.

Took a walk up the hill to see the vines at the local winery.

Threaded.

Sadly, this string of outside LED decorative bulbs only lasted one season, they were cool while they worked.

Soft shutter released.

First time taking the Q3 out and about. Eventually made it to the local park and snapped this right before realizing that the soft shutter release unscrewed and fell off the camera, never to be found again.

Fractured glass.

Before it gave up the ghost, the little touch lamp was kind enough to give me this close up shot of the glass shade. Liked that little lamp.

Museum bridge.

Rented a Leica Q2 last year and spent an afternoon at the park outside the local museum. Fell in love with how great things looked direct from the camera, so much so that I ordered a Q3 later that week.

Keys.

Spring thing.

Not too sure what this actually is. Took the Q3 out for a bit yesterday and say this little fella on the stone wall while checking out some flowers.

HomePod.

Macro shot of the outside mesh on the HomePod. Rock on.

Ukulele.

Just because I can’t play it doesn’t mean that I can’t photograph it.

Lock and shadow.

Had this little lock since the early 90’s. Can’t recall why. Found it in a little forgotten box. I gave it some light, it gave me some shadow.

Grand Central Audio Tours.

Taken a more than a few years back. Really liked all the textures and the pockets of strong light and shadow.

Abstract safety.

During the self imposed photo challenge, started leaning into the abstract. This is the corrugated safety bed of the laser engraver shot with a macro lens and a hard angled LED light.

Fire glass.

Summer night by the fire-top table. Camera was handy with the macro lens bolted on from something earlier in the day. Sort of worked out.

Die Fliege.

Not entirely sure why this little fella stayed as still as he did but he was quite cooperative.

Creeping rain.

A light rain was persisting throughout the day while visiting MIT for work visit. The upper deck of the building was partially exposed creating this feeling of encroaching moisture.

Presented with little comment other than I wish I had gone for a slightly deeper depth of field.
